Police Release Surveillance Pictures From Bank Robbery

Local police are looking for the thief in Tuesday's afternoon robbery of a Villanova .
According to a statement released by the Radnor Township Police Department, the robber is described as a man, approximately 6 feet, 1 inch tall, in his early to late 20s with scruffy facial hair. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt underneath a dark jacket, black Aeropostale sweatpants and white sneakers.
Radnor Township Police responded to a report of a robbery at the Sovereign Bank located at 2 Aldwyn Lane in Villanova a little after 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said a robber presented a demand note to a teller, which indicated he was in possession of a weapon and demanded money.

According to police, the man was given an undetermined amount of cash and left the bank. There were no other customers in the bank at the time and none of the employees were physically injured.
