Dirt Bike, Potted Plants Among Radnor Thefts

Read about some of the recent thefts reported.

The following information comes from reports provided by the Radnor Township Police Department.

  • A resident of Lowry’s Lane in Rosemont reported that a dirt bike valued at $2,700 was stolen from a shed on the property. The bike is a red and yellow 2004 Honda 125cc dirt bike that was last seen Feb. 23, but might have been taken around 3:30 a.m. on Feb. 28. A pad lock on the shed had been cut and removed during the theft.
  • An Eastern University student reported that her wallet was taken out of her back pack while she left it on a sofa in the ladies’ room at Eastern’s Walton Hall on Feb. 28 around 11 a.m. The wallet contained two debit cards, a driver’s license, cash and her Social Security card.
  • A resident of Marlyn Circle in Wayne reported March 4 that two cement plant pots were stolen from the top of her driveway. The pots are valued at $100 each, and the topiaries planted in them at $150 each.
  • A Villanova University student reported that a Dell laptop valued at $1,000 was stolen from a room in Bartley Hall on Feb. 25. According to a police report, the student had left the computer on a desk for a few hours.
  • An iPhone valued at $200 was reported stolen from an office in the Technology Services Center at Villanova University. The phone was accidentally left in an unlocked office on Feb. 26 and was gone by the following day.
