Easter Bunny Brings Breakfast, Smiles to the Radnor Fire Dept.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny raises nearly $2500.

The Easter Bunny handed out treat-filled eggs while a small army of volunteers served scrambled eggs Sunday at the Breakfast with the Easter Bunny.

The event raised nearly $2,500 to help support the volunteer fire company, according to Cheryl Flail of the fire company's auxiliary. Flail and about a dozen other members of the Radnor Fire Company Auxiliary, as well as the volunteer firefighters, served up eggs, pancakes, sausage, bacon and orange juice as the Easter Bunny held court and took photos in front of the company's antique Mack fire truck.

"The breakfast is one of several important fundraisers held throughout the year"according to Flail. Other events include Fire Prevention Night in September, an Italian dinner in the fall and breakfast with Santa in December.
