Eight New Police Officers Join Radnor's Force

They were sworn in on Monday and will be on the streets soon.

 

Radnor Township's Police Department just got a lot bigger.

Eight new police officers were sworn in to duty on Monday, April 22 at the Board of Commissioners meeting. You can watch the swearing-in in the video posted with this article starting at the 16:30 mark.

The officers have gone through written and oral tests, physical and psychiatric evaluations and interviews with Radnor administrators, said Radnor Police Superintendent William Colarulo.

The hirings were on hold until a new contract was negotiated between Radnor and the Fraternal order of Police.
