Is Grease a Hot Commodity?

Radnor Police report the theft of something most of us would not want to touch.

Radnor Police report that $200 in cooking grease was stolen from an outdoor container at Five Guys in Wayne.

An employee of the hamburger restaurant reported the theft on Feb. 26; the theft likely occurred between Feb. 22 and that date. There was also about $300 worth of damage done to the grease container.

Last year, according to a report from Malvern Patch, emergency services responded to an auto crash involving a van with a 250 gallon tank of cooking grease in the back. Amazingly, only 10 to 15 gallons of grease was reported spilled. Read the story here.
