Local Stations Mourn Firefighters Killed In Kensington

Fire companies throughout the city and suburbs are flying flags at half staff.

Just days removed from the death of two Philadelphia Firefighters at a Kensington blaze, fire brethren mourned their fallen peers.

From Philadelphia Fire Ladder Company 10, Lt. Robert Neary, 60, and Firefighter Daniel Sweeney, 25, were killed fighting a five-alarm warehouse fire on Tuesday. On Friday, funerals were scheduled for both men.

Throughout the suburbs and city, fire companies raised flags at half-staff to honor Neary and Sweeney. Others hung black bunting.
