Police Briefs: Theft, Burglary

Read about some recent crimes reported in Radnor Township.

 

The following information comes from the Radnor Township Police Department:

  • A resident of Garrett Avenue in Rosemont reported on Saturday, July 28 that sometime in the prior month someone smashed out windows on the first and second floor in an attempt to get into the house. Pry marks were also seen on a door, but it does not appear that the building was entered, according to police.

 

  • Appliances from a home on South Lowry’s Lane in Rosemont were taken, it was reported to police on July 26. The house is a Housing and Urban Development property and is owned by a property management corporation.

  • A resident of the 800 block of Glenbrook Avenue in Bryn Mawr reported that her laptop computer valued at $500 was stolen from her home. On July 20 the victim returned home to discover the back door open; there were no signs of forced entry, according to the police report.

 

  • A cell phone valued at $500 went missing while its owner was at on July 24. According to the police report, the phone tracking application showed it to be in Philadelphia.
