Police Briefs: Thefts

Read about some of the thefts that have been reported in Radnor.

  • An Apple laptop computer was stolen on Thursday, Nov. 8 from an apartment in Crestwood Apartments on East Lancaster Ave. in St. Davids. According to a police report, a roommate left the door to the apartment slightly ajar around 6 p.m. When the other roommate returned around 7 p.m. the laptop was missing from the apartment.


  • A digital camera valued at $600 was reported stolen from an apartment on North Wayne Ave. According to a police report, the residents reported that a friend had been staying with them for a few days, and the camera disappeared during that time.


  • A resident of Weirwood Road in Radnor reported that someone had accessed her Amazon.com and Comcast email accounts and used multiple credit cards to place orders.


  • Sometime between Aug. 12 and Nov. 4 a yellow ladder valued at $34 was stolen from a garage on South Devon Avenue in Wayne.


  • Graffiti markings in blue and black were reported on the new bathroom building at Cowan Park in Wayne on Nov. 8.
