Police Investigate Three Wayne Burglaries

Unlocked back doors played a part in the crimes.

Radnor Police are investigating two residential daytime burglaries that took place in the 100 block of Walnut Avenue in Wayne on Monday, April 19 between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m.

According to police, someone entered through unlocked back doors. One home owner reported that they were gone all day; the other home owner that they were in and out all day.

Numerous items of jewelry were taken.

Police are also investigating a residential daytime burglary that took place in the 300 block of Chamounix Road in St. Davids on Tuesday, April 23 between 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

Again, someone entered through an unlocked back door, according to police. Numerous items of jewelry were taken.

All of these are single family homes and are close to the train station, police said. "Residents are urged to be cautious and observant of any individuals that may appear to be suspicious or may be walking along the R-5 tracks. Any observations should be reported to police immediately by dialing 9-1-1," a police statement reads.

Radnor Police are also investigating a residential daytime burglary that took place in the unit block of Beatrice Drive in the Bryn Mawr Section of Radnor Township on Friday, April 26.
