Police: Robbery 'Brazen' and 'Organized'

Brazen and organized. That's how police describe in Radnor on Wednesday, Feb. 22.

The location for the robbery of tens of thousands of dollars' worth of goods was probably cased beforehand, Radnor Township Police Superintendent Bill Colarulo told reporters on Thursday.

"These smash-and-grabs run in spurts," Colarulo said. They lend themselves "to the availability of targets and whether they are successfully caught by law enforcement."

Cash rewards like the one being offered in this case of $5,000 for information, are incentives that do help some times, he said.

The police superintendent said it was fortunate that no one was injured in the robbery.

When violent incidents like this occur, "We want to make sure we crush the people who are responsible because we don't tolerate this," he said.
