Police: Topless, Underage Drinkers Busted at Wild NYE Party

East Pikeland Police say four females were topless in a hot tub when they arrived.

According to East Pikeland Police, 11 underage drinkers were busted at a wild New Years Eve party on Powder Mill Drive, four of whom were topless in a hot tub when police arrived.

Police say that on January 1 at 12:51 a.m. they received an anonymous tip that there was a party on the 200 block of Powder Mill Drive. When police arrived at the house, they walked immediately into the backyard, which was not fenced or gated.

The two officers found three males and four females in a hot tub. The females were topless. Two of the males, both underage and holding beer bottles, shouted, “[Expletive] it’s the cops,” and ran off. One of the men threw a beer bottle at the officer.

A third man walked inside the house and locked the basement door in front of him.

The officers told the girls to stay put and cover up and knocked on the door of the house, where they spoke with the owner, Christopher Clark, 53. When asked why he was allowing underage drinking at his home, Clark admitted that he was having a New Years party and said he reasoned that he was giving the kids a safe place to drink.

Clark eventually rounded up some additional underage drinkers who were hiding in the house, all of whom were charged.

Clark faces 11 counts of furnishing alcohol to minors and has a preliminary hearing date scheduled for February 7.

It sure has and once a statement is out there it becomes fact in the minds of the public. This is a trash column since the girl that left ran it!

It would be nice if Tom our editor would actually do some investigative reporting on this article and many other stories. There have been countless people contradicting the content of this article as well as many articles published in the Patch. It seems that the Patch has become sensationalized with the headlines created to grab people’s attention and to create arguments. I truly miss Lynn who was a constant professional and brought us real reports based on doing some research. It’s a shame Phoenixville no longer has such a paper.
