Police: Valley Forge Cadet Caught Selling Synthetic Marijuana on Campus

A Radnor middle schooler brings a knife to school and other police stories.

The following information is provided by Radnor Township Police Department.

On Monday, Oct. 15 four cadets at Valley Forge Military Academy were found to have taken "K2" and "Spice", which are synthetic marijuana products. A cadet there admitted to selling the synthetic drug and handed over 13 individual plastic bags of the product. He said he was selling the K2 and Spice on behalf of a student who had been dismissed the previous month for the same activity. In lieu of being sent to juvenile detention, the cadet was sent back to Valley Forge.

An 18-year-old from Wayne was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a small amount of marijuana after police found him and three other men in a car at Radnor Crossing apartments on Saturday, Oct. 20. A blue glass smoking device, grinder and a small amount of marijuana were found along with Vyvanse, a controlled substance that is a treatment for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

A student at Radnor Middle School was found to have a knife with him at school, it was discovered on Wednesday, Oct. 17. According to police, students told a teacher that the 13-year-old had the knife. District Attorney Michael Hill requested that the student be charged with possessing a weapon on school property.

Three King of Prussia men were found with marijuana in a car parked at North Wayne Park on Monday, Oct. 15. According to police, found in the car was a glass pipe, a glass tube containing marijuana and a metal pulverizer. The car's owner was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a small amount of marijuana.
