Pot Found at Cabrini, Taxi Driver Buys Beer for Students

Read about some of the drug- and alcohol-related incidents that took place last week in Radnor.

  • Erik J. Wexler, 20, of New Jersey, was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver after police found “a large amount” of marijuana hidden in two cases in his dorm room of House #3 at in Radnor. According to the police report, the arrest took place at about 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 30.
  • A driver for Rosemont Cab has been charged with furnishing liquor to minors after police say he purchased a case of beer for underage students. According to a police report, the driver was seen buying a 30 can case of Coors at Bryn Mawr Beverage on Landover Road in Bryn Mawr and immediately picked up three men in the parking lot of the Wawa on Bryn Mawr Avenue. The three underage men were cited for possession. The incident took place around 8:45 on Sept. 1.
  • A 19-year-old student was cited for trying to buy alcohol with a fake ID at the in Villanova. According to police, he tried to buy 7 bottles of vodka on Sept. 1.
