Radnor Grad on Charity Bike Ride Robbed in Florida

Spencer Holm of Bryn Mawr, who is riding from Philadelphia to Key West to raise money for Philabudance, had his backpack stolen by a man in Lake Worth, FL, according to the Palm Beach Post.

Holm was at a Florida gas station last Tuesday, May 29 when two men approached him and told him he was in a bad area and that they would accompany him back to his hotel, according to the Post article.

Holm became suspicious when one of the men offered to sell him crack cocaine, according to the article. Police say the man then grabbed Holm's backpack, which contained $12 in cash, a debit card and a cell phone, and ran away. Holm chased after the man and caught up with him.

Aaron Deyo, 36, was charged with robbery by sudden snatching, the article states.
