Radnor Thefts: $1,000 Microwave, 'No Parking' Signs

Read about some of the recent thefts from Radnor properties.

The following information comes from Radnor Township Police Department incident reports.

  • An iPhone valued at $300 was reported stolen from a common area in a building on North Radnor-Chester Road in Wayne, it was reported on Feb. 9. The phone was last seen around 10 a.m. on Feb. 7.
  • A woman reported that her wallet was stolen while she dined at Panera Bread in Wayne around 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 10. She had not realized her wallet was missing until she received a call from Nordstrom’s to inquire about purchases made with her card at the King of Prussia Mall.
  • A stainless steel microwave valued at $987 was stolen from the front of a house on Wyldhaven Road in Rosemont during the night of Jan. 26. It was awaiting pick-up from a retailer because it was broken. According to the owner, it would have needed two people to move the microwave.
  • An exercise bike valued at $25 was taken from next to a house on Aberdeen Terrace in Wayne. The owner say two men in a green truck take the bike on the morning of January 31. She said they might have thought it was being put into the trash, but it was not.
  • Two signs and two posts were stolen during the night of Feb. 3 from in front of Joe’s on Lancaster Avenue in Wayne.  It is the second time in six months that theft of his signs has occurred.
