Second Arrest Made in Wawa Robbery

Police have captured the second person they say was part of a duo that robbed the Bryn Mawr Wawa in Radnor Township on Feb. 9.

Hakeem King, 27, of Philadelphia, was taken into custody at a home in the city with the assistance of Philadelphia Police Warrants Unit and State Constable Michael Connor.

King was captured on store surveillance video acting as a “lookout," according to police, and was positively identified by a witness after being shown a photo array.

He is facing charges of robbery, conspiracy and assault.

According to Radnor Police, King waived extradition back to Radnor Township.  Once back at Radnor Township Police Headquarters, he confessed to his role in the robbery of the Wawa.

King was arraigned before District Justice David H. Lang, who placed bail at 10 percent of $250,000. King was unable to post bail and was transported to Delaware County Prison, according to police.

Rezekiel Harris, a 34-year-old Philadelphia resident, confessed to the Wawa robbery and two others that occurred since January in Lansdowne Borough and Upper Darby Township.

On Feb. 14, Harris was apprehended and charged with the three separate robberies and related charges.
