Sometimes the Lost Do Get Found...and Returned

On Nov. 27 a woman reported that her wallet was stolen while she left the Giant in St. Davids Square shopping center.

In Radnor and along the Main Line there are occasional reports of shoppers' wallets being stolen while at local supermarkets. Many times the victim does not realize his or her cash, credit cards or wallet is gone until too late.

But once in a while, a story of a good deed gets told.

On Nov. 27 a woman reported that her wallet was stolen while she left the Giant in St. Davids Square shopping center. She told police that she did not notice that her wallet was gone until she got home.

The only charge made on a credit card after the wallet went missing was a $2.99 charge to Barnes and Noble.

The following day the woman told police that her wallet had been found and returned to her with all of her cash and credit cards in it. The incident report does not specify who found the wallet or where it was.

The Barnes and Noble charge, it turns out, was a regular automatic charge that the woman had forgotten about.
