Thefts: Copper Pipes, $3,800 Bicycle

Items like GPS systems continue to be stolen from unlocked cars around Radnor Township.

Theft of Copper Pipes

Five thousand dollars' worth of copper pipes were taken from a house undergoing renovations on the 500 block of West Beechtree Lane in Wayne.

According to a police report, the theft happened sometime between August, 2011 and May, 2012. The house was being renovated following a fire.

According to the police report, the general contractor working on the job said he never noticed the copper pipes missing.

A Nintendo game box valued at $300 also disappeared from the property after it was left in the mailbox for someone to pick up.

Bicycle Theft

A Recumbent Greenspeed GT3 Trike valued at $3,800 was stolen from a garage in the 400 block of Glenmary Road in St. Davids between June 20 and 22.

 

Thefts From Unlocked Cars

A GPS system valued at $748 was stolen from an unlocked car in the 800 block of Glenbrook Avenue in Bryn Mawr overnight on June 21 into 22. 

The same night loose change was taken from an unlocked car in the unit block of Beatrice Drive in Bryn Mawr.

A pair of Oakley sunglasses was stolen out of an unlocked car in the 400 block of West Wayne Avenue during the night of June 20 into 21.

The same night a resident of the 400 block of St. Davids Avenue reported that nothing was taken from his car, but that the glove box had been rifled through.
