Thefts from Flemings, High Road Cycles in Police Blotter

Read about four recent thefts in Radnor.

The following information was provided by the Radnor Township Police Department.

  • A 26-year-old woman from Philadelphia was charged with retail theft after police say she stole $3,299.92 worth of good from TJ Maxx in St. Davids on March 27. According to a police report, the woman was seen putting merchandise into a bag and then leaving the store without paying for the items.
  • A woman's wallet was stolen from her car outside of the Wawa on Bryn Mawr Avenue on March 24. According to the police report, she left her wallet in her car and when she returned to her car it was gone. The wallet contained $250, credit cards and a driver's license. The cards were cancelled and no activity took place on them.
  • More than $500 worth of goods was stolen from High Road Cycles in Wayne on March 28. According to the police report, the theft took place around noon. A man in the store at that time is described as about 6 feet tall with red hair, a medium build and a pale complexion wearing blue jeans and a black shirt. Stolen was a shirt and two shorts sets.
  • An employee of Fleming's reported that $200 was stolen out of her purse as she worked at the restaurant on March 24. Her purse was in the employee lobby at the time.
