Thefts: Laptop from Car, Packages from Doorstop

Valuables from a car

A man reported that a laptop computer, iPod, and briefcase were stolen from a car parked in the parking lot of St. Davids Condominiums at 500 East Lancaster Avenue in St. Davids.

According to the police report, the car was parked in the property’s rear parking lot at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 25. Between that time and the following morning someone smashed a window of the car and took the contents.

Bikes locked to a sign

A man reported that two bicycles he chained to a No Parking sign in the 200 block of David Drive in Bryn Mawr were stolen.

The bikes were last seen at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, June 25.

The black and blue Raleigh mountain bike was valued at $250; the purple and silver Trek mountain bike was valued at $300.

 

Packages from a front door

A resident of the 300 block of Conestoga Road reported that two packages delivered to his home by UPS on Friday, June 29 were taken.

According to the police report, a $149 golf putter and $20 pair of gloves were delivered at 12:45 and the resident was sent a tracking text. A half hour later, someone arrived home to find no packages.

 

Gift card from a wallet

A woman reported that a $300 in gift cards was stolen from her wallet in an office of Sullivan Hall at Villanova University.

The theft took place the morning of Thursday, June 28.
