Three Valley Forge Cadets Report Indecent Exposure

A now-former cadet has been arrested.

A cadet at Valley Forge Military Academy reported that another cadet exposed himself, and touched the victim with his genitals, on March 18.

"Valley Forge immediately contacted the Radnor Police upon learning of the incident. After conducting interviews, the police arrested the perpetrator, removed him from the campus, and placed him in a juvenile detention facility," James J. Doyle, Interim President of Valley Forge Military Academy and College wrote in an email to parents on March 22. He said no sexual act took place in the incident.

The cadet was dismissed from Valley Forge Military Academy on March 19 and is barred from returning to campus, he writes.

"Please rest assured that Valley Forge and the Radnor Police Department are aggressively pursuing this matter to insure that we provide a secure environment for your cadet," Doyle writes. "Such conduct is rare and never tolerated at Valley Forge Military Academy & College. The administration is taking all necessary actions to ensure this situation is handled appropriately."
