Tredyffrin Barber Indicted In Cocaine Bust

The Montgomery County DA has linked Heads Up Barber Shop in Wayne with drug ring.

The Montgomery County DA charged 27 individuals—including a Tredyffrin barber—Tuesday with drug-related offenses involving cocaine trafficking.

According to a news release from District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman, Anthony Dennis, 39, was charged in connection with running a drug front out of barbershop Heads Up in Tredyffrin. 

Township police began investigating Dennis in 2008 at his business at 932 Upper Gulph Road in Wayne. The investigation, entitled "Operation Heads Up," expanded to include Chester County, Montgomery County and state officials.

In the criminal indictment, officials say Dennis with his brother Michael Dennis distributed large quantities of cocaine to drug dealers throughout the Main Line.
