Two Radnor Residents Report Fraud

Bank account and credit card numbers are being used to spend victims' money.

Two Radnor Township residents recently reported fraud to the police department.

A St. Davids resident reported March 22 that in December she discovered two checks that she did not write came through her checking account— one for $473.08 and another for $429.25. They were labeled for Wachovia Bank and included the victim's account and routing numbers for a Citizen's bank account. Neither of these were authorized, the victim said.

A Wayne resident reported March 18 that on march 16 and 17 someone used her Benchmark debit card to make online purchases from Craigslist.com and Yahoo Small Business. The Yahoo purchases were valued at $110.15, and the Craigslist purchases were for $625.
