A 23-year-old pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle late Saturday night crossing Lancaster Avenue in Bryn Mawr, according to Lower Merion police.
The woman, Lauryn Ossola, of Southington, CT, was crossing from the north side of Lancaster Avenue in Bryn Mawr near Thomas Avenue at 11:19 p.m. Saturday, according to police.
Ossola was a Villanova University alum, reports Main Line Media News.

She was hit by a Jeep Liberty traveling eastbound on Lancaster Avenue, police report. Ossola suffered serious head trauma and was transported by Narberth Ambulance to . She was pronounced dead at 11:52 p.m.
