Citizen: Tell Your Rep. to Save the St. Davids Post Office

Villanova resident and longtime St. Davids post office user John Dallas Bowers is urging people to call their state representatives and tell them that it is convenient to use, has good customer service, and offers the most viable postal resource in this area.

He writes on his web page, Save the Radnor-St. Davids Post Office, that "for no sensible reasons, it has now been closed. Our goal is to get it reopened. For that, we need your help."

On Friday afternoon Bowers stopped by the post office to shake the hand of Pat Sebastian, the postal worker there. Sebastian will be working at the Wayne post office, he said.

He gave Bowers a momento — a wood model phoenix that he put together. It rises from the ashes, which is something Bowers hopes he can do for the post office branch.
