Bill Spingler, the longtime commissioner of Radnor Township's Third Ward, recently reimbursed the township $572 because he reportedly had a township employee make multiple copies of a document for him.

He is currently the Democratic candidate for Treasurer.

The letter had “nothing to do with the treasurer’s race,” Spingler is quoted by Main Line Media News as saying. The document was about the development of the Ardrossan Farm.

Republican incumbent Treasurer John Osborne said he came across the township employee making Spingler's copies and reported it to township manager Bob Zienkowski, who put a stop to it, the newspaper reports.
