The Delaware County Council approved the 2013 budget, which calls for a 2.8% tax rate increase, reports The Delaware County Daily Times.
The proposed spending plan is for $330 million. This would mean a millage rate increase of 0.15 mils, or 2.8 percent, for an overall millage rate of 5.452.
The most costly aspects of the budget are the 911 Center and the county-owned Fair Acres Geriatric Center in Middletown. Read more from The Delaware County Daily Times.
