King of Prussia Road Closed 'Indefinitely'

People are being advised to avoid the area.

King of Prussia Road between Matsonford Road and Eagle Road in Radnor has been closed because of a sewer main failure, according to Radnor Township.

The road will be closed "indefinitely" as the Public Works Department works to repair the sewer main, the township states on its web site. It advises people to avoid the area entirely as "significant traffic congestion is to be expected while the sewer main is being repaired."

According to the township, the following temporary detour route has been established to assist motorists around the road closure:

  • Motorists traveling south on King of Prussia Road are to turn right on Eagle Road travel to North Wayne Avenue turning left and traveling back to Lancaster Avenue (Route 30).
  • Motorists that would travel north on King Prussia Road are to utilize westbound Lancaster Avenue (Route 30) to North Wayne Avenue turning right onto North Wayne Avenue and traveling to Eagle Road. Motorists will turn right on Eagle Road traveling back to King of Prussia Road.
