PECO Working in Downtown Wayne This Week

Beware of closed roads and detours in downtown Wayne.

The company that will be restoring the trenches in Wayne from PECO are expected to start their restoration work on Thursday. 

According to Steve Norcini, Radnor Township's director of public works, the company will start at Waynewood Avenue and move to North Wayne Avenue.

They expect to pave whatever portions of the street they mill, Norcini said.

Norcini said he expects the contractors to be off the downtown streets by Memorial Day weekend.

North Wayne Avenue: from the underpass to Bravo Pizza, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM – 1 day duration

Wayne Wood Avenue: from Station to Lancaster Pike – 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM – 1 day duration

Station Road: from North Wayne Avenue to Wayne Wood – 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM – 1 day duration

Louella Court: various locations – 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM – 1 day duration
