St. Davids resident George Badey is challenging U.S. Rep. Patrick Meehan (PA-7) for his seat in Congress.

Badey — a lawyer, chair of the Radnor Democratic Party, and longtime Mummer — told a crowd of his supporters Tuesday night that Meehan does not represent his values, which included "a belief in the dignity of women, both in the workplace and in the doctor’s office."

"George Badey has always been pro-women, pro-environment, pro-working families, and pro-healthcare," the Democratic candidate said.
