Radnor Preparing for Irene

The township's staff is preparing public notifications and responsive actions in the case of direct impact.

Days after an unexpected earthquake struck, Radnor Township is preparing for the possibility that a hurricane could directly or indirectly hit the area.

Hurricane Irene may bring to Radnor.

According to manager Bob Zienkowski, each department is coordinating a pre-notification effort to advise residents of the potential impact and safety reminders to consider given the significant amount of rainfall and wind that could occur.

Zienkowski also directed the staff to plan efforts in communicating and preparing staff members for the weather event and the response each particular area will provide.
