Radnor Property Taxes May Stay Flat

Parking tickets are likely to be increased by $5 to $20.

Radnor Township tax payers may see no real estate tax increase in 2013.

"The introduction of Radnor Township’s 2013 final budget passed by 7-0 Board of Commissioners vote Monday night. It sets the tax millage rate for 2013 at 3.7511 mills and the annual sewer service charges at $5.74 per 1,000 gallons of water used in 2012. The tax increase figures to be zero percent," reports Main Line Media News.

A fee of $36, to cover an increased municipal waste landfill “tipping fee,” although outside the budget, also needs to be dealt with, the newspaper reports. In other fee-related news, parking tickets are likely to be increased by $5 to $20, the same fee as in neighboring Lower Merion Township.
