While the Department of Agriculture has been providing this important information for some time on the state's web site, transparency was a big factor for Radnor, according to Larry Taltoan, Radnor's Health Officer.

In May Taltoan mailed out a letter to every licensed food operation in the township informing them of the change and he said he has only received positive comments.

"This new level of transparency will only provide an even higher level of quality, and food safe dining experience for our residence and visitors and will encourage more business  activity," he said.

"Radnor Township is a First Class Township in every sense. We are and continue to be leaders in doing what is right," Taltoan said. "People choose to live and send their kids to school where it is safe, clean and know they can get a good meal."
