Radnor Patch was nominated for an award.

They say it's an honor just to be nominated. And it is.

Radnor Patch did not win a Delaware County Historic Preservation Award,

Radnor Township 4th Ward commissioner Elaine Paul Schaefer nominated the column for the annual award in the publications category.

Wayne resident Greg Prichard was named in the nomination, as he supplies the photos and text for the From the Archives columns.

Prichard has previously won for his creation of the Radnor Historical Society's website, Radnorhistory.org.

This year he was given an award in the Special Project category for "Historical Signs for the Darby Transportation Center."

He shares the award with SEPTA and Darby Borough.

During its meeting this week, for “the rehabilitation and reuse” of the Rose Tree Tavern after it was moved from its original location at Rose Tree Road and Route 252 to , in Media.
