Reminder: PUC Hearing on Ice Storm This Week

The PUC is looking to hear how well electric utility companies communicated with customers in the aftermath of the storm.

Pennsylvania's Public Utility Commission will hold a hearing this week to discuss the response to the power outages following February's ice storm.

Hundreds of thousands of people were without power for days following the storm, which caused the largest winter outages in PECO history.

The PUC is looking for feedback during the hearing, and specifically wants to know how well your utility company communicated during the storm, and whether you were provided accurate information on when your power would be restored.

The hearing will be 6:30 p.m. March 26 in Keene Hall of the Tredyffrin Township Building, 1100 DuPortail Road in Berwyn.
