Romney to Visit the Main Line Friday

Republican Presidential challenger Mitt Romney will speak at a public rally Friday at Valley Forge Military Academy and College.

The event will begin at 11:30 a.m. but the doors of Mellon Hall open at 9:30 a.m. To get a ticket, visit http://mi.tt/S9ZmZG.

“I’m excited. The next president is coming to Radnor Township,” said Alan Brink, chair of the Radnor Republican Party. “It shows that Romney is still interested in Pennsylvania.”

According to Mittromney.com, all event attendees will go through airport-like security and should bring as few personal items as possible. No bags, sharp objects, umbrellas, liquids or signs will be allowed in the venue. Cameras are allowed.

“An interesting aspect of this is just how fast these events get put together,” Brink said, adding that emails were flying all day Thursday looking for volunteers.
