About 100 people who live near the university attended a meeting Thursday.

About 100 people attended a meeting Thursday that Villanova University held to provide information and answer questions related to the and a performing arts center on the south side of Lancaster Avenue.

Read what happened at the meeting on Main Line Media News.

Recently Villanova released a 39-page document of questions (from the public and Radnor Township) and answers from the school.

One of the items that school officials seem to be in disagreement with township officials and some residents is over the idea of one or more pedestrian bridges over Lancaster Avenue.

The bridges could theoretically connect the main part of campus to the proposed buildings, which would include dormitories and retail.

What do you think of the idea of a pedestrian bridge over Lancaster Avenue? Tell us in the comments below.

I had originally thought the bridge was a good idea and that Villanova was just holding off on this to use as a bargaining chip. But they did refute the need for it pretty well. Pedestrians flow like water and take the route of least resistance. I guess if I have the option to take stairs or a cross walk I would take the cross walk.
