NSDAR History Contest Winners 
Pat Hartel and Ann Kline, Great Valley Chapter DAR, present awards Feb. 12 to the students in the American History
Contest whose essays won local awards, Meghan Boles of Gladwyne, Anna Chaippone, Ashton Spano and
Nicholas Szary of Wayne, all enrolled at Saint Katharine of Siena School, Wayne.  Each year the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution sponsor a national contest. Local winners' essays are submitted for the state competition from which a winner will go on to the national competition. All schools in Great Valley, Tredyfrin-Easttown and Radnor School Districts were invited to enter the contest.
