RTSD Board Discusses Educational Issues with Legislators
RTSD School Board members and district officials sat down with Pennsylvania legislators on Sept. 12 to discuss educational topics pertinent to Radnor and surrounding school districts.
Radnor Township School District Board members Eric Zajac (president), Kimm Doherty (vice president), Robert Armstrong, Lisa Borowski, Charles Madden, Susan Michaelson and Lydia Solomon joined district administrators, Pennsylvania legislators Rep. William Adolph (R-165th), Rep. Joe Hackett (R-161st) and Rep. Greg Vitali (D-166th), and Jonathan Tew, the legislative director for the office of Sen. Daylin Leach (D-17th), for a discussion about educational issues pertinent to Radnor and surrounding districts, including Keystone Exams and school funding formulas, at a breakfast meeting at Radnor Elementary School on Sept. 12.
The informal meet-and-greet was coordinated by the Board's Government Relations Committee and was followed by a tour of the school, where the legislators got a look at the library and art room as well as met students working in their classrooms.
