Home Settlements Held Steady in June

Read how Radnor Township's June closings compared with other Main Line municipalities.

Property settlements in Radnor Township during the month of June held steady in 2013 compared with the same month last year. 

According to a report from Prudential Fox and Roach, there were 49 properties that closed in June, compared with 52 from last June. Both are only slightly higher than June, 2011 when only 44 homes changed hands.

(Fifty properties closed last month, compared with 34 from last May and 17 the prior year.)

The median price of the properties that did sell in June was up 7 percent from last year at $590,000. That was up slightly from last June, when it was $551,250, and up from the year prior when it was $582,000, according to the report.

The average days on the market last month in Haverford Township decreased by 6 percent from last June, from 65 to 61 days.
