Property settlements in Radnor Township during December of 2013 decreased 4.2 percent from the same month last year.
According to a Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach HomExpert Market Report, there were 23 properties that closed in December, compared with 24 from the previous year. In December of 2011 that number was 18.
The median price of the properties that did sell in December of 2013 decreased by 30 percent from the same period the previous year, from $677,500 to $475,000. In December 2011, the median price was $668,000.
The average days on the market decreased by 50 percent from 97 to 48 days between last December and this past December.
