A development of custom homes has been proposed for portions of the 311-tract, and a conditional use hearing has been ongoing for the plan for remainder of the estate, reports Main Line Media News.

“This has been a priority for decade,” The newspaper quotes Board president Elaine Paul Schaefer as saying. “It’s a meaningful and culturally important landscape. And I feel very confident that our community continues to see preservation of our resources as an important priority. Ardrossan that will be an asset to Radnor for decades to come.”

But not everyone agrees. A discussion thread has exploded on the issue here.
