Baldwin School Athletes Make College Choices

The girls are accomplished student athletes.

The Baldwin School is pleased to announce that six senior student-athletes have made their college choices. Kathleen Edwards will swim for Connecticut College; Selena Maity will play squash for Yale University; Cashel McCarthy will play squash for Hobart William Smith College; Ryan Morgan will play squash for Drexel University; Madison Pujadas will swim for Columbia University; and Kristine Rojo will play tennis at the U.S. Naval Academy.

Edwards has earned three Varsity Letters: Swimming (10, 11, 12); All Main Line Swimming 2nd Team (10, 11, 12); 2013 Inter-Ac Swimming Bronze Medalist; 2014 Inter-Ac Championships 4th Place 100 Breast, 3rd Place in both the 200 Medley Relay and 200 Free Relay; 2014 Easterns set a new school record in the 200 Free Relay.

Maity has earned eight Varsity Letters: Tennis (10, 11, 12); Squash (8, 9, 10, 11, 12); Captain 3X: Tennis (12), Squash (11, 12); All Inter-Ac Tennis 1st Team (12); All Main Line Tennis 1st Team (12); 2013 Inter-Ac Tennis #1 Doubles Silver Medalist; Finished the 2010 squash season as an eighth grader undefeated with a 20-0 record.  All Inter-Ac Squash 1st Team (10, 11, 12); All MASA Squash 1st Team (12); MASA Squash Individual Sportsmanship Award (12); US Squash Scholar Athlete Award (9, 10, 11, 12); 2014 Main Line Times Student of the Week;  2012 Inter-Ac Tennis #1 Doubles Silver Medalist; 2010-2014 Inter-Ac Squash Team Championships  (8, 9, 10, 11, 12); 2011-2014 MASA Squash Team Champions (9, 10, 11, 12); 2013 US Squash HS Nationals 2nd Place (11); 2011, 2012, 2014 US Squash HS Nationals 3rd Place (9, 10, 12).

McCarthy has earned six Varsity Letters: Squash (9, 10, 11, 12), Lacrosse (11, 12); 4 JV Letters: Soccer (9, 10), Lacrosse (9, 10); Captain: Squash (12); 2010-2014 Inter-Ac Squash Team Championships  (9, 10, 11, 12); 2011-2014 MASA Squash Team Champions (9, 10, 11, 12); 2013 US Squash HS Nationals 2nd Place (11); 2011, 2012, 2014 US Squash HS Nationals 3rd Place (9, 10, 12); Athletic Association (9, 11, 12); Baldwin School Commitment Pin (9); Coaches Award Lacrosse (9).

Morgan has earned four Varsity Letters: Squash (9, 10, 11, 12); 1 JV Letter: Lacrosse (9); All Inter-Ac  Squash 1st Team (9, 10, 11, 12); 2010-2014 Inter-Ac Squash Team Championships  (8, 9, 10, 11, 12); 2014 All MASA Squash 1st Team (12);2011-2014 MASA Squash Team Champions (9, 10, 11, 12); 2013 US Squash HS Nationals 2nd Place (11); 2011, 2012, 2014 US Squash HS Nationals 3rd Place (9, 10, 12); 2013 Pat West Award (11).

Pujadas has earned three Varsity Letters: Swimming (10, 11, 12); Captain: Swimming (12); Athletic Association (11); All Inter-Ac Swimming 1st Team (10, 11, 12); All Main Line Swimming 1st Team (10, 11, 12); 2013 Inter-Ac Swimming Silver and Bronze Medalist; Baldwin Swimming Record Holder in the 200 Medley Relay, 200 Free Relay and 400 Free Relay; 2013 Pat West Award (11); 2013 US Swimming Scholastic All-American; 2014 Inter-Ac  Swimming Championships 1st Place and set new Ieague record 100 Breast; 2014 Inter-Ac Championships 4th Place 200IM; 2014 Inter-Ac Championships 3rd Place in both the 200 Medley Relay and 200 Free Relay; 2014 Easterns set a new school record in the 200 Free Relay. 

Rojo has earned three Varsity Letters: Tennis (9, 10, 11); All Inter-Ac Tennis 1st Team (9, 10, 11); All Main Line Tennis 1st Team (10, 11); All Main Line Tennis 2nd Team (9); Won the 2010 Inter-Ac Tennis Title and went undefeated (9); 2011 Inter-Ac Tennis Champion (10); 2012 Inter-Ac Tennis #1 Singles Bronze Medalist; Nationally ranked US Tennis player; Junior Ambassador of Down the Line and Beyond Foundation.
