Devon Prep Honors Middle School Athletes
Students from around the region were honored at an awards banquet.
Several area Devon Prep Middle School student athletes were recently honored by their coaches at the school’s Middle School Sports Banquet held in the gym.
Coaches Marty Gillane, Mark Aquilante, Devin Kline, Matt Bush and John Donahue introduced the members of their Soccer, Basketball and Baseball teams, discussed the highlights of their season, and presented MVP, Spirit and Sportsmanship awards. At the end of the evening Devon Prep Headmaster Rev. James Shea, Sch.P., made a special presentation to long time Soccer Coach Mr. Martin Gillane who retired after 17 years as a Devon Prep coach.
Nearly 70% of Devon Prep Middle School students participate in one or more athletic team. The following students received awards at the banquet:
