Historical Accountability and Virtues of Civic Integrity Margaret Walker, Marquette University
 November 17, 2011 – Driscoll Hall Auditorium – 4:30 PM  Margaret Urban Walker is the Donald J. Schuenke Chair in Philosophy at Marquette University. Her current research interests are in justice and repair following conflict, repression, and historical injustice. Dr. Walker’s most recent books are Moral Understandings: A Feminist Study in Ethics, 2nd Edition (Oxford University Press, 2007), Moral Repair: Reconstructing Moral Relations After Wrongdoing (Cambridge University Press, 2006) and Moral Contexts (Rowman and Littlefield, 2003).  Her lecture is part of Intersection of Virtue and Ethics, the first of a series of annual lectures dedicated to reflection on the many facets of the Catholic intellectual tradition. The series is sponsored by the Office of Mission and Ministry in collaboration with the departments of Theology & Religious Studies, Philosophy, Humanities, Center for Peace and Justice Education, Villanova Center for Liberal Education, the Ethics and Honors programs.
