October 25, 2011 - Driscoll Hall Auditorium - 6:15 PM   Diane Cole Ahl is the Rothkopf Professor of Art History at Lafayette College, PA. She holds a PhD from University of Virginia and BA from Sarah Lawrence College, and has received 13 grants and awards for teaching and scholarship. She is the author of Benozzo Gozzoli (2010), Fra Angelico (2008) editor of The Cambridge Companion to Masaccio (2002).   Her presentation is part of the Catholic Imagination in the Arts Series sponsored by the Office for Mision & Ministry. This annual series is designed to demonstrate how religious faith informs and inspires the work of artists, writers, poets, playwrights, musicians, film makers and culture in the broadest sense. While not the exclusive focus, the contributions of Catholics and the influence of Catholicism on the arts are emphasized
