Dr. Hallowell, a world-renowned expert in ADD and ADHD, is a psychiatrist for both adults and children and founder of The Hallowell Centers in Sudbury, MA. and New York City. He was a member of the faculty of the Harvard Medical School from 1983 until his retirement from academics in 2004. Since then he has devoted his attention to his clinical practice, lectures, and writing books. He has authored eighteen books on various topics and his book titles include; Driven to Distraction; Driven from Distraction; Answers to Distraction; Finding the Heart of the Child; and his latest, Shine: Using Brain Science to Bring Out the Best in Your People. Dr. Hallowell is a highly-recognized speaker who has been featured on many television shows including CNN, The Today Show, and many more. He has been interviewed in print media including Time, The New York Times, USA Today and Newsweek. He is also a regular columnist for ADDitude Magazine.
