Preview: Valley Forge Military Academy & College Inauguration and Opening Ceremony

Dr. Stacey R. Sauchuk will be presented formally as the new president of the academy.

Dr. Stacey R. Sauchuk will be presented formally on Thursday as Valley Forge Military Academy and College's (VFMA&C) new president.

Sauchuk is the academy's 11th president. She'll be speaking at the Alumni Chapel of St. Cornelius the Centurion on the school's campus, located at 1001 Eagle Rd. in Wayne, at the 5 p.m. ceremony. Sauchuk will be presented by William R. Floyd, Jr. — ’63, Chairman of the Board of Trustees.

To symbolize the start of the school year, Sauchuk will introduce the new Regimental Commander, Jonathan Nelson, who will carry the American Flag to run up the flagpole.

The ceremony will be completed with the America Flag and school colors being placed in the hands of this year's Color Guard.
