A Night at the Ball Park

On Thursday, August 16th at 6:30 pm the Radnor Township Recreation & Community Programming Department will hold its inaugural A Night at the Ball Park event!  Held at Encke Park, 301 Iven Avenue, Wayne, this community event will broadcast the Philadelphia Phillies’ game LIVE on a GIANT outdoor screen as they take on the Milwaukee Brewers!  At this event, you don't need tickets to Citizens Bank Park to enjoy the excitement of America's favorite pastime.

A Night at the Ball Park will include a variety of fun, pre-game activities beginning at 6:30 pm.  This event will feature special appearances by Jordan Ellis, a former Radnor baseball player and current player for the Reading Phillies, the Reading Phillies’ Mascot Screwball, entertainment for all ages such as a dunk tank, activities, and games, food & refreshments, raffles, and more!

This event will also help to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Radnor-Wayne Little League, which hails as being one of the first little league organizations in America!  At 7:30 pm, an event ceremony to thank & recognize Radnor-Wayne Little League will take place on the field. Then at 8:10 pm we PLAY BALL! as the Phillies take on the Brewers.
