Active Aging Celebration - Wayne Senior Center OPEN HOUSE

Come One, Come All to the Wayne Senior Center!  Radnor Township and the Center are hosting an open house in celebration of Active Aging Week.  You will find everything from Balance Assessments, Smart Phone Demos, Eye Screenings and a Tai Chi Class and Demo to an I-Pad Demo, Stroke Assessments, a Kindle Fire Demo, and your very own Car Fit Assessment.  AAA will be here to offer their 12-point checklist to help older drivers           determine how well their vehicles "fit" them. It only takes 15 minutes and could save your life.  It is bound to be a great time and you will probably meet some friends along the way. 

Become inspired by some incredible senior athletes!  Age of Champions is the award-winning documentary following five competitors who sprint, leap, and swim for gold at the National Senior Olympics.  You’ll meet a 100 year-old tennis champion, an 86 year-old pole vaulter, and rough-and-tumble basketball grandmothers as they discover the power of the human spirit and triumph over the limitations of age.

Make sure you come for our FREE COOKOUT at noon.  Hamburgers and hotdogs, right off the grill.  And for your listening and dancing pleasure we will have entertainment you won’t want to miss!  The Wayne Senior Center fosters healthy living all year long by offering many opportunities to help you keep active and energized!
